Editorial policy
The standard an article must meet before it is published here: evidence, human review of AI-assisted work, corrections, translation, and independence from advertising.

Restato Labs publishes this blog and is responsible for everything on it. This page is the standard we hold ourselves to, and the standard you can hold us to.
What earns publication
- One reader problem. An article answers a question someone actually has, stated plainly at the top.
- Evidence we can show. Material claims rest on work we did — a build we ran, a deployment we made, an incident we handled — or on a current primary source such as official documentation, a specification or source code.
- No duplicate intent. Before publishing, we compare a draft against what we have already published. If it competes with an existing article, we improve that article instead of adding another one.
- Complete on its own. We do not publish placeholders, stubs or index pages dressed up as articles.
AI-assisted work and human review
We use AI assistance openly: for drafting, for translation between English and Korean, and for scaffolding code and examples. It is a tool in the writing process, not a source of truth.
Before an article is published, a person:
- checks every factual claim against a source we can name;
- runs or reads the code and commands, rather than trusting that they look right;
- removes anything that cannot be verified, including confident-sounding detail;
- reads the Korean and the English versions separately for accuracy, not just fluency.
A model's output is never the sole basis for a claim, and no article is published without this review.
Dates and maintenance status
Every article shows its publication date and whether it is maintained or kept as a historical record. When we substantially revise an article, the revision is reflected in the article's dates rather than published quietly.
Corrections
Write to [email protected] with the page address and what you believe is wrong. We check the claim ourselves rather than taking either side on trust.
- If the article is wrong, we correct the text and note in the article that it was corrected.
- If the article is right, we say so and explain what we checked.
- If a claim can no longer be verified, we remove it rather than leave it standing.
We do not quietly delete an article to make a mistake disappear. Serious errors are corrected on the record.
Sources, quotation and external links
We link to the primary source for a claim wherever one exists. An external link is a citation and never a paid placement or an endorsement of the linked site. Quotations are kept short and attributed, and we do not reproduce someone else's article as our own.
Translation
English and Korean versions of a topic carry the same claims and the same status. A translation is reviewed on its own terms; if a claim cannot be supported in one language, it is removed from both.
Independence and advertising
Nothing on this blog is paid for by a third party. We publish no sponsored posts, no affiliate links and no paid reviews, and no one outside Restato Labs approves an article before publication.
We intend to apply to a third-party advertising network in future; we make no claim about the outcome of such an application, and no advertising is served today. If advertising is ever enabled, it will be labelled and visually separated from articles, it will not appear on these policy pages, and it will never influence what we publish or what we conclude.
